This is a complex wine with velvety red cherry, pomegranate, and orange zest notes backed by sage, pink peppercorn and rose. The wine is texturally seductive with satiny tannins, allowing the full spectrum of the subtle nuances to shine. It’s one of those wines that just keeps evolving in the glass...until it stops evolving that is.

This is an old-school style of Pinot Noir where balance and finesse reign supreme i.e. Grand Master Flash-esque.

This year’s harvest, compared to previous years, came with low yields, though with higher concentration and great body and incredibly aromatic. All grapes were handpicked between March 23rd and April 8th and carefully selected. The clusters were de-stemmed and went through a cold maceration at 8ºC for 4 days, before starting its fermentation. Alcoholic fermentation was done at 24ºC during 12 days to enhance the fruity aromas of the variety. The wine was macerated for additional 4 days. Malolactic fermentation was done in stainless steel tanks (60%) and in 1 year old barriques (40%). The wine remained in the barriques for another 5 months and was then blended with the wine in stainless steel tanks. The blend was stabilized and filtered prior to its bottling.
